Blueberry Banana Smoothie Bowl
Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Vegan
Nothing says summer like freshly picked, local berries; fresh, flavourful and perfect for smoothie bowls!
Serves 1
Ingredients
- 1 Banana 
- 2-3 handfuls of Spinach (I always pack the spinach in there!!) 
- 1-2 large Tbsp of Avocado 
- 1 handful of fresh Parsley 
- 1 Tbsp of Ground Chia Seeds 
- 1 heaping Tablespoon of Vanilla Protein (I use Vega Vanilla Protein & Greens) 
- ½ Cup of Unsweetened Vanilla Cashew or Almond Milk 
- 2-3 ice cubes 
Toppings
- Fresh blueberries (approx. 1/2 cup) 
- 1 Tbsp shredded coconut 
- 2 Tbsp chopped cashews 
Directions
- Add all ingredients to high speed blender. Blend until smooth. Using a spatula, scoop into a bowl, add toppings and enjoy!
